On our kitchen product range we currently use Intertek, an internationally accredited laboratory group for individual product certifications. Additionally, HYCHEM is ISO9001:2015 accredited through the British Standards Institute (BSI), We believe that BSI sets a higher standard than the SABS certification.
We do not have any certification on our laundry products.
Many of our cleaning chemicals carry the necessary certification and comply to SANS (South African National Standards) 1828 and EN1276 specifications and can be used in a food production environment.

Covid and Sanitizer Products (11)
Yes, all our sanitisers and disinfectants comply with the required SANS specifications and have been tested and approved (EN1276).
The chemical composition of Dermarub is:
– Ethanol 70%
– Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.5%”
Both QAC and alcohol based sanitizers are known to be highly effective against a range of microorganisms. All HYCHEM disinfectant products carry appropriate certifications to ensure efficacy. Appropriate product choice will be based on application area.
Our products are often more concentrated than our competitors and once our products are appropriately diluted, we have a very competitive price offering by volume. Please refer to the dilution ratios on the product labels.
The Dermarub is a Hospital Grade hand sanitizer and the Dermabac is a food handling grade hand sanitizer. The Dermarub has a higher alcohol percentage than the Dermabac.
Quatracide Clear (No dye version) at a low dilution would be best as it wont stain and will provide long lasting disinfection to the sheets if they are undisturbed in the laundry room.
